My Story
My Scentsy journey began about 10 years ago when I was looking for a solution to my.... uh, unseemly animal odor problem. You see, we love animals and so we have two dogs and two cats. While I love the companionship my animals give to me, I don't love the odor they can sometimes bring into the house. So, I was always looking for a solution to the problem. I got into the habit of burning candles, but with a curious and active preschooler at the time, I always worried that he would knock a candle over or worse, I would simply forget to blow them out before going to bed ("mommy brain" still plagues me to this day!). Then I found Scentsy. Scentsy is such an easy and safe alternative! A Scentsy warmer uses the heat of a 15 or 25 watt light bulb to warm a small bit of scented wax to make my house smell wonderful! Because of the low melting temperature, I also never have to worry about the wax burning one of my pets or my little dude if they should stick their paws in it. They also double as night lights (for my little guy who is afraid of the dark) and have made a beautiful addition to my home as the warmers come in many different designs and sizes. Now, people are always saying to me, "Oh wow! I never would have known you have a zoo... your house doesn't smell like it!".
